Happy Valentines Day!

We finally have some sun!! Yay!! Hope everyone is having a great day! Nick and I got in our shopping and date last night, so we don’t really have any plans for tonight, except maybe cleaning up the entire house. 😒😄

I just realized this morning that this is the 6th Valentines Day that Nick and I have celebrated together! The first year, we had just started dating, and he went all out and had a dozen red roses sent to me at work! He also called me on the way over to say that he was running late, but he was having a little trouble with one of my presents. Then he confessed that he had bought me a dog. At this point, I barely knew the guy, and didn’t know he was joking! 😂 He did show up with a dog…a gigantic stuffed dog (to my relief! 😄)

Then we went to a movie and to eat, and I don’t remember what movie we watched, but I do remember his car alarm went off while we were trying to get back in his car, and Nick was all flustered but took FOR.EV.ER to turn the crazy thing off, and EVERYONE in the parking lot was looking at us! 🤣 Fun memories!

So this is what happens when I try to take pictures of my daughter! And my niece, who is 3 months younger, is always ready to smile at the camera as soon as she sees it! Yes, I’m a bit jealous.
