Since Friday Introductions seem to be a thing, I’m doing one today! For those of you who are new to the blog/my website/my photography work…thanks for stopping by! 😊
I’m Rebekah, mother to Elliana, wife to Nick, sister to Rachel, Sarah, Hannah, Esther, Abby, Bethany, and Seth, aunt to many more, photographer, and my biggest dream is to be a helicopter pilot one day! 😄 Speaking of dreams, I’m currently living one of my biggest dreams as mama to our sweet baby girl! (Read more about how she joined our family!)
We live in Middle Tennessee near the town of Dickson, and about 45 minutes west of Nashville. We attend a small church nearby, where I’m involved in the music ministry. The area we live in is somewhat rural, and definitely has some of the prettiest scenery around! Although I’m a wedding photographer, I do take family photos when requested, and I love to use the rolling hills at a nearby farm as my background…it’s just gorgeous!!
I became interested in professional photography in Spring of 2017, and bought my first DSLR camera and started investing in training soon after. I’ve been interested in photography since I was young, though. I would dress up my (usually unwilling) younger sisters and pose them for photos! 😂 I remember being SO excited to get my photos back! Thankfully, these days I can just look at the back of my camera to see the results, and my sisters are happy to let me take their pictures. Their husbands, though…now that’s a different story. 😄
