I’m so excited to be sharing my sister’s maternity session with you today! If you didn’t know, I’m the oldest of 8 siblings. Abby’s the 6th baby of the group, so it’s crazy to me to think that she’s having babies of her own, considering I remember taking care of her when she was born! She’s an incredible mom and I am just so honored I was able to document and celebrate this special time with her. We chose Montgomery Bell State Park for her session, in Dickson County, TN, and it was just perfect! I was actually married here, so it was nice to be back!!
Montgomery Bell State Park Maternity Session
Maternity sessions are always a lot of fun, because they’re all about celebrating. Together, we’re documenting your next step as a family, and it’s SO exciting. Documenting my own family makes it even better! Abby and her wonderful husband Cy put up with all of my antics, and Alice (their daughter) was amazing, too. She and I are very close and usually I can make her laugh really easily. However, she decided (of course!) that she was going to be super serious about these photos in her beautiful little dress and she looked at me like I was crazy when I tried to get her to laugh and smile for me. We finally got a few good laughs out of her by the end!
Congratulations again, Abby. I’m so happy for you and I know you’re going to be an incredible mother (again!). I feel so lucky to have spent this time celebrating you and your beautiful family.
