Today’s post is part 8 of our Taylor Tuesdays series! I know I shared about our recent photo session yesterday, but it’s hard to pick my favorites! In case you didn’t see yesterday’s post, this session was taken by Janice Jones of Janice Jones Photography in Charleston, SC! If you’re in that area and looking for a photographer, I highly recommend her! 😊
I made a personal goal when our daughter, Elliana, was born to have family photo sessions every 6 months (at least while she’s little and changing so much)! It’s so important to me to document her life in photos! One of my favorite things to do is to look at old photos of my siblings and myself growing up. I’m very thankful we have those to look back on!
Our 1st family photo session (Elliana’s birth)
Elliana’s first photo session was taken just a few hours after she was born! She was born in Pensacola, FL, and we were able to have Sarah Jane of Sarah Jane Photography come to the hospital for pictures! I can’t say enough good things about this sweet girl! Nick and I really enjoyed talking with her before the birth, and she just went above and beyond as a photographer! Not only did she take some wonderful pictures, but she went out to her car and edited a few and sent them to us before she even headed home!! It was SO awesome to have those to send to family and friends right away! Sarah Jane typically does weddings and family sessions, and I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a photographer in that area! 😊
Our 2nd family photo session (6 months)
Our 2nd family session was taken in Nashville, TN, by a photographer friend of mine, Neely Roberts of Neely Roberts Photography! I can’t say enough good things about this sweet lady, either! She has been such a good friend to me, and has invested a LOT of time into me when it comes to photography! She’s one of those people that is always willing to answer questions, give helpful advice, and a lot of times just encouragement! I really appreciate her friendship, and of course I love the pictures she took of us! She typically photographs weddings and seniors in the middle TN area and beyond. I highly recommend her as well! 😊
