I’m so happy I had the chance to see McRee and Luke again! They worked with me for maternity portraits before their sweet little girl arrived, and so when they reached out about family photos, I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to meet Oaklynn! McRee and Luke are natural parents and it’s clear that they love their little girl. Their family portraits in Tennessee were so beautiful and Oaklynn is seriously the sweetest!

Oaklynn was a joy to photograph. Honestly, I was a little bit jealous because my own kids seemed to have developed an aversion to me capturing their photos! They cry and protest loudly when I try, ha. So capturing this sweet girl was a nice break. She was all about it – and loved being curled up with her parents. These portraits truly capture how it was with McRee, Luke, and Oaklynn. They are definitely that loving in real life!!
I appreciate that McRee and Luke were able ot just relax during our portraits. As parents, it’s one of the best things you can do. Try to relax and just let me handle the rest! I know it’s easy to stress about getting your family to stand still and smile, to look perfect, and be ready… but I assure you, the best thing you can do is just be relaxed and have fun. Kids follow their parents and feed off their energy, so allow your family to just have some fun! I promise you, I’ve got plenty of experience to work with kids and get their attention! Oaklynn was a joy because her parents were so relaxed – and as you’ll see below, it really can make a difference in the final product for your family photos!
