Taylor’s Senior Portraits [from the archives] | TN Senior Portrait Photographer

We’re throwing things back with today’s blog to Taylor’s gorgeous senior portraits from last year! The first time I met Taylor in person was her session and she was just a joy to work with! As you’ll quickly see in her portraits, she was a natural throughout her whole session. Senior portraits are always so much fun to capture because not only are we celebrating a big achievement, but we’re capturing what makes you unique as a senior (and human).

Before Taylor’s session, we discussed what she could expect and how she could prepare for her portraits. One of my favorite tips for my seniors is to bring a couple different outfits to their session. It’s an easy way to create variety in their favorite images, but also show off more of their personality! Taylor brought two super cute outfits, which I loved. Her white dress was perfect for starting our session! I LOVE dresses like this because we can capture movement in your images – twirling, moving the skirt, and so much more. Plus, it gives my subjects something to do with their hands (which is always helpful!). Her second outfit was super cute and casual. It was a great contrast to her first dress and we were able to capture her in a slightly different location for even more variety.

If you’re graduating in 2023, make sure we talk about senior portraits soon! Whether you capture them this summer or fall, I always recommend photographing them before the spring! If your images are done early, you have more time to use your images to celebrate, send invitations, and thank you notes! Contact me today to set up your Tennessee senior portraits!
