Well, as I mentioned yesterday, I now have a new haircut! It’s been a long time since the last trim, so I had them cut off enough to donate. My sister gave me a gift certificate for Merle Norman & Southern Sisters Salon in Dickson this past Christmas, and I finally used it! They definitely made my first experience with them a great one! 😊
I’m loving the new haircut, but it feels like SO much hair is gone. I know, I know….it still looks pretty long! My friend was surprised I didn’t get more cut off! Haha! Now I need to get some recommendations on curling wands, etc, so I can make it look like it does in the picture! (My hair is notorious for not holding a curl!)
Well, enough about that…let’s talk about the weekend! Anyone have any fun plans? We had some long-time friends over for supper this evening, and then Nick taught them how to play his (current) favorite game: Burger Battle.
So Nick LOVES playing games and is very competitive. Well, my sisters and I play a game called Dutch Blitz, which is SO much fun, but it’s one of the very few games that Nick dislikes! He hates being rushed, and he complains often about the discomfort of getting jabbed with fingernails! 🤣 (What’s wrong with him? 😂) It does get pretty rough at times! Haha! We need to get it back out…haven’t played that one in awhile!
